Lexplore & Microsoft Education
Lexplore is a Swedish company that has its origins from a research project at the Karolinska Institutet (which has been selected the Nobel laureates in Physiology and Medicine since 1901). With the use of Eye-tracking, Artificial Intelligence and many years of research, we can identify students’ reading ability at an early stage and help develop literacy skills through their school years.
Lexplore assesses each student in 3-5 minutes, giving teachers more instructional time. Lexplore’s use of AI and eye-tracking is accurate, objective, and rich with data to ensure each student gets the right support. In addition, because it measures oral and silent reading, students that are non-verbal benefit from the power of Lexplore. The results portal, accessible from MS Teams or stand-alone, clearly show staff and administrators how each school district or municipality are progressing reading development across all schools, classrooms, and students.
